About the practice

Dirk Liesenfeld

Since 1998 I have been working with people with empathy, heart, and mind. My approach combines psychodynamic methods (e.g., Gestalt Therapy according to Perls) with talk therapy (client-centered counseling according to Rogers).

Other methods, such as relaxation techniques, and behavioral therapy approaches, also flow into my work.

I work with individual clients, couples, and families.

Directions

If you enter “Dirk Liesenfeld” in the location search on Google Maps, you’ll be taken directly to the directions, where you can choose between car, train, or walking. You can also click HERE!

By car

From the A9 motorway from Berlin or Leipzig: Take the Niemegk exit and turn left onto B102 towards Bad Belzig. Shortly before Bad Belzig, you’ll pass a small town (Preussnitz). Immediately after this, there’s a right turn, where the first sign for Bad Belzig is on the left – but drive past it, so stay on Route 102. Then there’s a large intersection with traffic lights, where the sign says Bad Belzig on the left, but continue straight ahead. Then there’s another intersection with traffic lights, where the signs say Bad Belzig, the thermal baths, and the rehabilitation clinic – turn left at this intersection onto the B246. Continue straight for about 2 km, and immediately after the town sign and BEFORE the “Total gas station,” turn right uphill (Am Kurpark) towards the thermal baths. Pass the thermal baths and at the top of the intersection, turn right towards the rehabilitation clinic (Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße). After the traffic bump (200m after the Zegg entrance on the left), turn left up into the forest (small sign: Waldsiedlung).

From Brandenburg (or the A2 from Potsdam or Magdeburg): Take the B102 towards Belzig. At the large traffic light intersection, where Bad Belzig is signposted, turn right towards Belzig. Then follow the directions above, from “Total Gas Station”.

Coming from the west on the 246: Stay on the 246 (it winds through Bad Belzig, but always stay on the right-of-way!) and shortly before the end of Belzig, turn left AFTER the Total gas station. Then as above, from “Total Gas Station”.

By train

Take the RE7 eitherFrom Berlin (e.g., Alexanderplatz, Zoo, Hauptbahnhof, etc.) or from Dessau, the train departs once or twice an hour. From Bad Belzig station, take bus 590 (not on the same side as the station, but on the opposite side of the street! So, when you come out of the station, the bus doesn’t go right, but left!) and get off at the “Zegg” stop. After the traffic jam (200m after the Zegg entrance on the left), turn left up into the forest (small sign: Waldsiedlung). From there, it’s only a 7‑minute walk.

Follow the forest path (“Waldsiedlung”) for about 500m until you reach the top. On the right side is a yellow house with the number 1.

Exactly opposite the house is a blue sign “P‑Praxis” that marks the entrance. Parking is available here.
